Jessica Hellmuth

I moved to the Netherlands to start Codarts Circus Arts at the age of 18, and have since graduated specializing in aerial rope in 2020. In my creations, I am very interested in the methods that facilitate the creation process, and the role of multimedia in this. Right now I am exploring this with my  first full length show called Corpomorphologistics which is a solo rope and dance piece about identity, intimacy, and perception. It will premier at Theater Op De Markt in October 2021. In the future my hope is to expand my company to create group pieces centered around multimedia and autobiographical research on socially relevant topics. I would also like to eventually take these creation and bodily exploration methods into a pedagogical form.
